long overdue

so now that i have 3 weeks worth of blogging to catch up on...

this is what it looked like here a couple of weeks ago:

the leaves are a bit browner now, and the vineyards aren't quite as bright anymore, or maybe it's just that the sun doesn't shine as much now that it's november. *shrug* november's a weird month, though. i mean, october gets all the good press with it's brilliant colors and golden afternoons. and there's halloween! =) and then it starts getting colder and darker, and next thing you know, it's december and christmas, and everyone's wondering what happened to november...
